Technical Reference Manual

WikiBone is powered by the open source MediaWiki server, the same engine that powers many other wikis, including Wikipedia. The MediaWiki Reference Manual contains information about how the articles in the wiki are named, organized, and managed on the server. MediaWiki uses a mark-up language known as Wikitext which allows authors and editors to control how articles are formatted for display. Wikitext is simple enough for even a beginner to master the basics, but it's also flexible enough for an experienced user to implement more complicated formatting tasks. The Wikitext Reference Manual contains detailed information describing all of Wikitext's capabilities.
